Installing and Setting Up Smart Shopper
Introduction
This guide explains how to:
- Install the Smart Shopper app.
- Create an account.
- Enable location services.
- Configure store settings.
System Requirements
Before installing Smart Shopper, make sure your device meets the following requirements:

Install Smart Shopper
- Open the App Store on your device.
- Search for Smart Shopper.
- Tap Get.
- Wait for the installation to complete.
- Tap Open to launch the app.
Create Your Smart Shopper Account
When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to create an account.
- Open Smart Shopper.
- Tap Create Account.
- Enter the following information:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Password
- Tap Continue.
- Follow the prompts to verify your email address.
Enable Location Services
Location services allow Smart Shopper to detect nearby grocery stores, provide accurate price comparisons, and create in-store maps so you can find your list items easily.
- Open Settings on your device.
- Scroll down, and then tap Apps.
- Scroll down, and then tap Smart Shopper.
- Tap Location.
- Select While Using the App.
- Turn on Precise Location.
Configure Store Settings
With location services enabled, Smart Shopper automatically detects stores within a 10-mile radius of your location. Use the following instructions to modify the default radius and select preferred stores.
- Open Smart Shopper.
- At the top of the screen, tap your profile image, and then select Store Settings.
- To change the radius that the app uses to detect stores, in the Within field, enter a new distance in miles.
- To select stores for the app’s price comparison feature:
- Tap My Stores, and then select each store you want to include.
- Tap Continue to save your preferences.
